An offer credit changed: investigate the original transaction

A changed balance needs a transaction-level explanation. Identify the affected record and the message attached to it before assuming why it changed.

01

Find the transaction behind the balance change

Review the relevant history and identify whether the change concerns activity credit, a reward request or a refund. A balance is the result of several records; its movement alone does not explain which one changed.

Keep the activity or reward reference, date and displayed message. If the account shows a negative balance, use the official support route for a specific explanation rather than creating another account.

02

Do not confuse a refund with a reversal

A refund associated with an undelivered reward request can return the CB used for that transaction. A partner reversal concerns credit associated with an earlier activity. A missing confirmation means the expected activity credit may never have been recorded.

Those events call for different evidence. For a reward refund, keep the request reference. For activity validation, keep the original campaign and qualifying event. Do not assume another platform’s chargeback thresholds apply to CinchBucks.

03

Compare the original conditions with what happened

Read the saved campaign terms and review whether the required event, new-user condition and deadline were met. If a purchase was involved, note whether it was later cancelled or returned under its actual conditions.

Describe facts rather than guessing a reason for a partner decision. If you believe the change is incorrect, supply the permitted evidence that identifies the original event without exposing payment details or private credentials.

04

Request a review without creating new activity

Open one focused support request about the original transaction. Explain the earlier record, the changed result and when you noticed it. Ask which condition or record needs clarification.

Repeating an offer, making another purchase or borrowing someone else’s account does not resolve a disputed transaction. Keep follow-up in the same support conversation and plan future rewards from the confirmed balance actually shown.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

The balance moved, but which record explains it?

Illustrative example: an undelivered reward request is cancelled and CB is returned to your account. That movement is a reward refund, not a new game reward. You keep the cancelled request reference so the returned amount is not counted as fresh earning progress.

A question worth answering.

Does this page establish an automatic reversal rate or waiting period?

No. Read the actual record and applicable terms. CinchBucks has not announced a universal threshold or release schedule in this guide.
