How reward offer tracking works
A reward offer usually involves several systems: CinchBucks, the offer provider and the advertiser. Completing an action is one step; the provider also needs to attribute and validate it under the offer’s terms.

A little clarity goes a long way
Start from the offer link, preserve the device and session the terms require, and save evidence before a problem occurs.
Locate the missing step in the tracking path
| What you see | What to investigate |
|---|---|
| No installation or start record | Original link, supported device, first-install eligibility and consent requirements. |
| Installation recorded, milestone absent | Exact achievement wording, deadline and milestone confirmation period. |
| Milestone pending | Provider review instructions; keep the original reference. |
| Milestone approved, CB absent | A matching account transaction and the provider confirmation reference. |
The path from click to credit
You open an offer from CinchBucks, follow its destination link, complete an eligible action, and wait for the provider to confirm it. An app installation alone may not satisfy a game milestone, and a purchase may still be subject to a review period.
Before starting an app or game offer
Read the rules for prior installs, new customers, supported devices and territory. Reinstalling an app does not necessarily make you a new user. If you have tried the same advertiser elsewhere, check eligibility before spending time or money.
- Save the offer title, provider, terms and start date.
- Record milestones, deadlines and any required purchase.
- Use the offer’s original link and supported device.
- Review tracking consent and privacy settings; skip the offer if its requirements do not suit you.
Why progress and credit can disagree
A game may show your level before the provider has validated it. A provider may also reject progress outside a deadline or from an ineligible installation. Check the actual status instead of repeatedly reinstalling or switching devices.
Location-masking services, blocked redirects and session changes may interfere with attribution. Follow the particular offer’s instructions; do not disable device security to pursue a reward.
If the expected milestone is missing
Compare your saved requirements with what you completed. Check the provider’s support or activity page and the stated review period. Gather a redacted milestone screenshot and the activity reference.
Describe the exact missing milestone in one support request. Do not assume that completing more milestones or making another purchase will repair earlier tracking.
Separate attribution, achievement and approval
Attribution answers which offer link introduced the activity. Achievement answers whether the required milestone happened. Approval answers whether the provider accepted that achievement under the rules. A game screenshot can help show achievement, but may not prove attribution or new-user eligibility.
This distinction explains why two screenshots of the same level do not necessarily support the same claim. A correctly attributed first-time installation and an old installation opened directly from an app store can have different eligibility outcomes.
A worked example: the first milestone appears but the second does not
Suppose a provider shows the installation but has not confirmed the target level. First compare the saved wording with your progress: “finish level 10” can require more than arriving at level 10. Next check its deadline and confirmation instructions. Keep a permitted screenshot that shows the actual milestone.
If the target was met under the original terms, report the missing milestone with its reference. Avoid uninstalling the game, resetting identifiers or buying an upgrade to make the provider notice it. Those actions do not establish that the original event was attributed or eligible.
Build a simple private offer record
Before you start, record the provider, title, device, start date, target milestone, deadline and stated reward. After each milestone, add the date and the status shown by the provider. Keep purchase requirements separate from optional spending.
If an offer takes you from a desktop page to your phone, follow that offer’s actual handoff instructions. Do not create your own detour by searching for the game in an app store and installing a different listing. Ask before proceeding if the link destination looks inconsistent.
Common questions
Can I complete the same game offer on several sites?
Prior participation may make you ineligible. Read the advertiser and provider terms before starting another version of the offer.
Will enabling tracking guarantee a reward?
No. The activity must still meet eligibility, milestone, deadline and validation requirements.
Can resetting an advertising identifier fix an existing offer?
Do not reset device identifiers as a troubleshooting shortcut. It can change the tracking context and does not establish eligibility or repair a past event.
Can Support credit an offer using a screenshot alone?
A screenshot is supporting evidence. The provider may still need to validate attribution, eligibility and achievement before approving credit.
