A reward for the way you play
An Xbox-related reward can refer to store credit or to a subscription product. Inspect the listing to see which you are choosing and check the required account region. Think about the purchase you intend to make, then choose a reward whose actual conditions fit that purchase.
Different products, different next steps
| Your decision | What it means |
|---|---|
| Store credit | Review eligible Microsoft or Xbox store uses stated by the product. |
| Game Pass product | Check the named plan, duration and account eligibility. |
| Digital game | Confirm the product is actually a game entitlement rather than credit. |
Do not calculate subscription time from a card picture
A generic card design cannot tell you which subscription is supported or how long it lasts. If your goal is a subscription, read the explicit product name and redemption restrictions. An existing subscriber and a first-time subscriber may need to check different conditions even when they want the same service.
Separate account credit from a subscription promise
Identify whether the available product is store credit or a code for a specific service. Read the account, region and usage terms before planning how it will support your next Xbox purchase.
A general brand mention does not establish eligibility for a trial, discounted subscription or recurring plan. Follow the actual issued product and the service’s checkout conditions to confirm what you are receiving.
Before your next step.
Does an Xbox reward include Game Pass?
Only if the actual reward listing explicitly says so. A gift card and a subscription can have different eligibility and redemption rules.
Will every Xbox reward work on every account?
Availability and redemption depend on the exact product and region. Use the product’s current instructions for your account.
